4	Clemson Freeride Here is how it began... Clemson Freeride was originally founded in the fall of 2006. It was started by the fearless leader Jonathan "Papa Bear" Howlette who came to Clemson University with a passion for extreme mountain biking held deep in his loins. Following him was an entourage of thrillseekers destined to change mountain biking in Clemson. The rest is history in the making.	319

11	The Carolina Cyclers The Carolina Cyclers, formed in 1964, is the premier cycling club in the Midlands of South Carolina. Centrally located in Columbia, we offer a variety of cycling-related activities. We are dedicated to the promotion of cycling and sponsoring cycling-related activities for the enjoyment of our members and guests. Our main activities are the weekend and weekday evening rides sponsored by the club. There are rides Saturday and Sunday geared for cyclists of all experience levels, from novices to aspiring or practicing racers. There are also evening rides for those who like to take advantage of the longer daylight hours of the summer season.	128

15	Tarheel TrailBlazers The Tarheel Trailblazers were founded in 1990 by a handful of local mountain bike enthusiasts. Over the years the club has grown to over 300, resourceful, energetic and active men and women of all ages. Our volunteers work directly with local land managers, building and assisting in the maintenance of what will soon approach 75 miles of carefully constructed, sustainable mountain bike trails, in the Metro - Charlotte region.	458
